A 3d Model Map Vs. a Traditional Map

What are the differences between a 3d model map and a traditional map? The former shows a three-dimensional view of a place whereas the latter shows a flat, two-dimensional overview of a place.

People who need to study the geographical features of a particular country or city, such as architects, geographers, historians or military leaders, will benefit from a 3d model map.

Individuals and families who need driving directions or those who just want to have a general idea of the layout of a place will find a traditional map quite useful. Both types of maps are valuable in their own ways.
